Platform model

PetraTworks Business Model

This section describes how PetraTworks operates and how different user groups interact with the platform. It focuses on service components, revenue streams and operational responsibilities.

  • Candidate accounts: free access to create profiles, upload CVs and apply to listed roles.
  • Employer services: tiered subscription plans and pay-per-listing options to manage vacancies and shortlist candidates.
  • Administrative and analytics tools: dashboards for application tracking, compliance documentation and basic match indicators.

User groups and platform roles

PetraTworks serves two primary user groups: candidates seeking management and technical roles in oil and gas, and employers or hiring teams seeking qualified professionals. Candidates can create structured profiles capturing experience, certifications and availability. Employers can post vacancies, access candidate shortlists and manage interview scheduling. The platform provides role-based access controls so organisational users can manage listings and review applicants by authorised staff.

Third-party service providers such as assessment partners or training providers may integrate via defined interfaces to offer additional services, subject to separate agreements and data-sharing consent.

Revenue streams and pricing structure

Revenue is derived from employer-facing services with multiple options to suit different hiring volumes and needs. Core components include subscription plans that provide a set number of postings and access to shortlist tools, and on-demand listing fees for one-off vacancies.

  • Subscription plans for regular hiring teams.
  • Pay-per-listing for occasional vacancies.
  • Optional recruitment support fees for curated shortlists and administrative assistance.

Candidate access to core platform functions for profile creation and applications is provided without charge. Pricing details are published on the Pricing page and subject to standard contractual terms.

Data and compliance handling

PetraTworks handles candidate and vacancy data according to privacy and data protection standards relevant to Malaysia. Collection is limited to information required to support recruitment processes and regulatory checks where applicable.

Data handling is governed by the platform's privacy policy and access controls.

Employers are responsible for verifying credentials and meeting any sector-specific regulatory compliance for hire decisions. PetraTworks supplies documentation tools to record verifications but does not itself certify candidate qualifications.

Candidate experience

Candidates register with structured profiles that include work history, qualifications, certifications and role preferences. Application processes use standardised forms so employers receive consistent information for evaluation.

The platform provides guidance on profile completeness and suggested role-fit indicators based on stated experience. PetraTworks does not make hiring decisions; it facilitates information platform and administrative coordination between candidates and employers.

Candidate access and limitations

Candidates retain control of their profile content and can manage visibility settings. Personal data sharing with employers occurs when a candidate applies or explicitly consents to data transfer for a vacancy application.

Employer workflows

Employers can post vacancies with structured role templates, filter applications by key criteria, and manage interview scheduling through built-in tools. The platform records interactions to provide an audit trail for recruitment activities.

Additional employer services are available for document verification, curated shortlists and administrative support. Employers remain responsible for final selection and compliance checks.

Operational support services

Operational support includes a help centre, online chat for routine enquiries and optional managed services for high-volume or complex recruitment campaigns.

  • Help centre documentation and FAQs.
  • Online support via chat and email during business hours.
  • Optional managed recruitment services contracted separately.

Support resources are intended to assist both candidates and employers in using the platform effectively and to provide transparency on workflows and timelines.

Limitations and scope

PetraTworks is a facilitation platform and does not make hiring decisions or independently verify all candidate credentials. Employers must perform due diligence and compliance checks required by law or industry standards.

Available services and features are subject to change; published terms, pricing and policy documents on PetraTworks.digital provide the most current information. Information in this document is accurate as of 30 March 2026.
