Eligibility and permitted use

Use of PetraTworks is permitted for individuals and organisations seeking recruitment, job opportunities or candidate sourcing in the oil and gas industry, subject to these terms and applicable law. Users must provide accurate information and comply with platform rules.

Users must be of legal working age in their jurisdiction to use the platform. Minors may not create accounts or submit applications unless authorised by a parent or legal guardian and in compliance with applicable law.

Users must not use PetraTworks for unlawful purposes, to submit fraudulent information, impersonate others, or to transmit harmful content. Use must comply with employment law, anti-discrimination statutes and local regulations relevant to hiring and recruitment.

Availability of certain services may vary by country. PetraTworks may restrict access or services in jurisdictions where operation would conflict with legal or regulatory obligations.

Account registration and security

Creating an account on PetraTworks allows access to job listings, candidate management tools and application submission features. Account holders must provide true, accurate and current information and update it as necessary.

You are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of information on your account. Misleading or false data may result in removal of content or account suspension.

Protect your login credentials and do not share them. Notify PetraTworks immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. PetraTworks uses security measures but cannot accept liability for losses caused by compromised accounts due to user negligence.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable unless PetraTworks agrees otherwise in writing. Selling or assigning accounts is prohibited.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact PetraTworks support immediately at [email protected] or by phone. Provide relevant details to assist with contribute and secure the account.

PetraTworks may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a security risk, or engage in abusive behaviour. Where appropriate, PetraTworks will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Scope of services

PetraTworks offers a digital platform connecting employers, recruiters and candidates for roles in oil and gas management. Services include job postings, candidate search tools, profile hosting, application tracking and optional paid features.

PetraTworks may modify or discontinue features at any time. Changes will be communicated via the platform or email when practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated services.

PetraTworks aims to keep services available but does not warrant continuous or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages or circumstances beyond our control may affect availability.

User conduct rules

Users must follow conduct rules to keep PetraTworks safe and professional. The following list outlines prohibited activities and expectations.

• Do not post discriminatory or unlawful job ads or candidate information.
• Do not submit fraudulent or false credentials, references or application materials.
• Do not use the platform to harass, intimidate or threaten other users.
• Do not attempt unauthorised access, scan or probe PetraTworks systems for vulnerabilities.
• Do not upload malware, unsolicited commercial content or other harmful material.
• Respect intellectual property rights and do not post content you do not have the right to share.
• Comply with applicable employment laws and anti-discrimination obligations when posting jobs or evaluating candidates.

User-generated content

Users may post profiles, resumes, job listings, messages and other content. You remain responsible for content you submit and must ensure it complies with these terms.

You retain ownership of user content you create and submit, subject to the licence granted to PetraTworks to operate the service.

By posting content, you grant PetraTworks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify and display the content as necessary to provide the platform and related services.

You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and appropriateness of content you post. PetraTworks is not responsible for third-party content but may remove material that violates these terms.

PetraTworks may remove or restrict access to user content that breaches these terms or applicable law. Removal may occur without prior notice where urgent action is required.

Intellectual property

All PetraTworks branding, platform design, software and proprietary content are the intellectual property of PetraTworks or its licensors. Users must not reproduce or use PetraTworks intellectual property without written permission.

• Do not copy, modify or create derivative works from PetraTworks' software or site design.
• Do not remove or alter any proprietary notices on the platform.
• Request written permission before using PetraTworks activity or logos in publications or promotions.

Paid services and subscriptions

PetraTworks offers optional paid features such as premium job placements, advanced candidate sourcing and analytics. Paid services are governed by these terms and any additional terms presented at purchase.

Pricing for paid services is displayed on the PetraTworks.digital site and may vary by region. Fees are stated in the currency indicated and exclude applicable taxes unless specified.

Payment methods accepted are shown at checkout. Payments are processed through our payment provider. PetraTworks does not store full payment card details unless explicitly stated and in line with security standards.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Users may manage or cancel subscriptions via account settings or by contacting support.

Refunds for paid services are handled on a case-by-case basis and subject to the refund policy presented at the time of purchase. PetraTworks evaluates refund requests fairly, taking into account service usage and the nature of the request.

Users may cancel paid services at any time. Cancellation affects future billing; charges already incurred prior to cancellation will not necessarily be refunded except as described in the refund policy.

Users are responsible for taxes applicable to purchases. PetraTworks may charge taxes where required by law and will provide tax invoicing as appropriate.

PetraTworks may change prices for paid services. Existing subscribers will be notified of material price changes in advance where required by law or contract.

Failure to pay for services may result in suspension or termination of access to paid features until outstanding amounts are settled.

Disclaimer

PetraTworks provides tools and information to facilitate recruitment. While PetraTworks aims to verify certain employer and job information, users must exercise independent judgement. PetraTworks does not vet every employer or candidate and is not responsible for the actions or omissions of platform users.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PetraTworks and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. PetraTworks' total liability for direct damages in connection with these terms will be limited to amounts paid for the specific service in the twelve months preceding the claim, where applicable.

Third-party services and content

PetraTworks may integrate third-party services such as background checks, identity verification, payroll or assessment tools. Use of third-party services is subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies. PetraTworks is not responsible for third-party practices.

Termination

Either party may terminate the contractual relationship where termination rights are provided in service agreements. PetraTworks may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these terms or misuse of the platform.

Upon termination, access to data and paid features may be discontinued. Depending on service settings, account data may be deleted or retained for legal, audit or legitimate business purposes; PetraTworks will inform users of options where applicable.

Privacy and data protection

PetraTworks processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Users consent to such processing by using the platform. The Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, retention periods and the rights available to users.

Communications and notices

PetraTworks may send service messages, system notifications and notices by email, in-platform messaging or postal mail to the address provided in your account. Users are responsible for keeping contact details current.

Changes to terms

PetraTworks may update these terms to reflect changes in the law, business operations or platform features. Material changes will be communicated to users via the platform or email. Continued use following updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Malaysia to the extent permitted by mandatory provisions of other jurisdictions. Disputes will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions below unless otherwise required by local law.

Dispute resolution

Users should first attempt to resolve disputes by contacting PetraTworks support. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms as set out in local law and these terms.
